How Your Past Life Is Sabotaging Your #Success Today!

I know exactly what you are going through because believe me I have gone through a similar path, so here is a bit of my story;

Growing up, I hated the small town my mom and I lived in. I mean it was a shred of poverty, iron sheet house, no air, no enough meal, life was a true struggle especially with a single mom who's business depended on how many kilos of charcoal she would sell just to feed us! The second I got out of high school, I started working to sustain my dream life, I moved to the major city of Dar es Salaam, So the life, of course, wasn't as I had been reading on our very own tabloids, ooh my! I almost gave up on the big city dream but I would look back and see that poverty back where I came from and get motivated to keep going!

I eventually found my footing, but only for a short time. I had known from the beginning that I didn’t want to stay in the big city for too long either when something fortunate paved into my life i.e the start of career life, I was working during the day and studying evening classes, I wanted to be the learned one so had to save alot to sustain living and fees.  Then I got a good position, I was accused of having an affair with my boss by my colleagues to get such a position; according to them I "wasn't qualified for such a position"; ooh office rumors can destroy one, mentally, emotionally and even physically;  These are women and men who had families and because I was young, hell I just had to have an affair to get the position...Surprise! a strong setback that was ignited by fellow women!

Every time I would say enough, I just got a glimpse of how I want my future to be this motivated me to keep going. I am not saying that I am exactly where I want to be rather I have experienced many setbacks that motivated me to move forward and use those experiences as a stepping stone to the life I am currently living.  If you’re desperate to cling on instead of letting go, you’ll never have the opportunity to see how wonderful this world can be. Love, career, or family is not a singular experience. It can happen again and again, and again. But if you refuse to see it, if you decide to think about what you used to have instead, sure, you won’t get that happy ending.

I don’t know what your life looks like right now or who you are or where you came from, but I’m sure you’ve got one hell of a story to tell. You wouldn’t be here or reading this if you didn’t. You, my friend, have a unique and enthralling past in some way or another. We all do! I know it is hard to hear this but you must understand that we only have today and we need to live it to the fullest. And to go further you must believe your past has no engagement with your future! None Whatsoever! Everything is connected to your mind and what information you feed so it becomes! I hope this video will motivate your journey wherever you are.

Personally, my fears of poverty have led me to keep pushing for a brighter future. The things that you struggled so hard with in the past have nothing to do with this person, the person you are destined to become. Those things do not define you and, thus, should not hold you back from getting what you want in your life. DO NOT BE AFRAID TO DROP THE BAGGAGE OF YOUR PAST NOW! And I am very determined to create a legacy that will uplift many women as well as young girls to believe that they can transform their dreams into reality.
